International research and development activities are currently implemented mainly in the Baltic Sea, North Sea and European Atlantic. Working at international level helps us better understand the global development of the tourism industry and benchmark best practices. This makes it possible for the tourism industry in the Satakunta region to keep pace with emergent national and international trends.
The Center for Tourism Business Development also aims to attract more international tourists to the Satakunta region by enhancing cooperation between businesses, offering them information on international target groups, and supporting them in expanding their business into international markets.
